Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 16- and 17-year-olds without a high school diploma or GED require a valid work permit.
• 18-year-old individuals enrolled in high school do not need a high school diploma/GED/work permit to be considered.

Responsibilities

• Acts as unit receptionist and assists visitors and staff; enters and notifies about orders in the hospital system; handles patient data and transfers and discharges; processes charges; maintains and inventories patient care forms and supplies.
• Assists patients with activities of daily living including bathing, grooming, eating, walking.
• Performs delegable nursing tasks under RN supervision, including basic care duties, data collection, and use of handheld devices for documentation and measurements.
• Assists visitors and staff with information needs; coordinates scheduling and documentation; secures and handles supplies, medications, and lab specimens.

Education
