Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• One year of healthcare customer service experience preferred.
• Associate degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Remains in constant communications with admissions on patient status including transfers, admissions, discharges and bed changes.
• Receives, greets and directs patients, visitors, physicians, and staff on the unit.
• Maintains and labels patient charts and medical records according to policy.
• Transcribes physician orders to appropriate information sites and follows through.
