Job summary

Telecare Corporation is seeking a Unit Clerk to provide clerical and technical support to nursing, clinical, and medical staff at Heritage Psychiatric Health Facility in Oakland. Duties include interaction with members served and handling EHR-related tasks.

The role offers PM shift 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM with a starting wage of $23.00 per hour, and geographic differentials apply based on location. Benefits include PTO, holidays, shift differentials, CEUs, and more.

Qualifications

High school graduation or a G.E.D. equivalent.
Six months experience as a unit clerk or administrative support staff in a health care environment.
Knowledge of basic medical terminology and Electronic Health Record (EHR).
Must be at least 18 years of age.
CPR, Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI), and First Aid certification on date of employment or within 60 days of employment and maintain current certification throughout employment.
Post-offer physical examination, TB testing, background clearances, and other regulatory requirements may apply; driving eligibility if required.
