Job summary

Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, is seeking a Security Officer Licensed Patrol in Berkeley, MO. You will monitor a financial institution location, maintain a visible presence, and deliver professional customer service while following site procedures.

This full-time role includes a 3:00 PM–11:30 PM schedule and opportunities for career growth, with benefits and training provided. Must meet minimum requirements and pass background and drug screening.

Qualifications

Have at least one year of security-related experience.
CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
A state, county, or city-issued security license is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide exceptional customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a financial services location.
Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site procedures.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the building interior, exterior, parking areas, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
Monitor access points and observe visitor, employee, and vendor activity in accordance with established site policies.
Document patrols, incidents, and unusual observations accurately and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
