Allied Universal is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer – Visitor Check-In in Plainfield, IL. You will greet drivers and employees, check IDs, manage visitor logs, and monitor entry points and cameras at a busy logistics site.

You’ll perform routine patrols, document observations, and coordinate with site leaders. This role emphasizes safety, integrity, and teamwork in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old (unarmed roles) or 21 (armed roles).
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background check required by federal, state and local laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing may be required by state/local laws.
• Driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Greet drivers, visitors and employees; verify IDs and issue visitor credentials.
• Maintain visitor logs and monitor entry points and cameras.
• Respond calmly to incidents and emergencies; document actions taken.
• Conduct patrols of docks, yards and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor alarms, cameras and radios; report concerns and incidents.
