Job summary

UMass Memorial Health Marlborough is seeking an Ultrasound Technologist to perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations in inpatient and outpatient settings under radiologist supervision. You will gather clinical data, document findings, and assist with interventional procedures while maintaining high standards of patient care and equipment sterility.

The role requires ARDMS registration within one year of hire, a graduate from an accredited ultrasonography program, and at least one year of US

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Ultrasonography program with ARDMS registration within 1 year.
• Minimum 1 year of diagnostic ultrasound experience.
• Strong communication and team collaboration in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities

• Perform ultrasound examinations according to departmental standards.
• Gather clinical data and maintain accurate patient records.
• Submit bills and records promptly; prepare images for radiologist review.
• Assist with interventional exams and sterile technique as required.
• Ensure equipment and supplies are in proper working order and properly sterilized.
