Job summary

UMass Memorial Health in Worcester, Memorial Campus, is seeking an Ultrasound Technologist for an Evening, full-time role. You will perform a variety of ultrasound procedures, operate equipment, and ensure high-quality imaging while prioritizing patient comfort and safety.

Requirements include specialized post-secondary training (two years) and ARDMS certification, with duties extending to RIS scheduling, collaboration with physicians, and maintaining accurate patient records.

Qualifications

• Specialized post-secondary training equal to two years of college.
• ARDMS registration or certification is required.
• Experience with ultrasound procedures is implied for this role.

Responsibilities

• Perform ultrasound procedures according to departmental protocols.
• Operate ultrasound equipment and perform portable exams.
• Use RIS to schedule exams and manage labels and files.
• Serve as a resource to sonographers, MDs, and students.
• Maintain patient records and ensure data accuracy.
• Ensure a clean and safe work area and follow safety guidelines.
