Qualifications

• ARDMS certification required
• ARC or AHA BLS within 3 months of hire
• NH Medical Imaging License
• Ultrasound scanning experience with multiple patient populations (2–3 years)

Responsibilities

• Operate ultrasound imaging equipment to acquire images.
• Communicate sonographer impressions to interpreting physicians.
• Maintain patient safety and image quality.
• Participate in on-call and holiday coverage.
• Oversee and instruct staff and students in the department.
• Participate in research and quality improvement programs.
