Job summary

RWJBarnabas Health is seeking an Ultrasound Technician at Cooperman Barnabas Medical Center in Livingston, NJ to perform high-quality diagnostic ultrasound examinations. The role requires graduation from an accredited school of sonography, ARDMS certification, and BLS, with on-call/weekends/holidays and an evening shift.

You will work in the Ultrasound department, ensuring patient comfort, accurate imaging, and collaboration with physicians.

Qualifications

Graduate of accredited School of Sonography.
ARDMS certification required.
BLS Heart Saver/Health Care Provider certification through American Heart Association.
Experience 2 years, Preferred.
On Call, Weekends, Holidays.
Monday - Friday, 4pm-12pm.

Responsibilities

Selects & records appropriate images for the permanent records.
The sonographer produces and analyzes ultrasound images used by physicians for diagnosis and treatment.
Exercising discretion and judgement to render quality patient care during sonographic services.
