Job summary

Maola Local Dairies is seeking a Truck Spotter to safely move trailers in the yard, stage for loading, and support dock operations to align with production and shipping schedules.

Shift is 2nd, 5:00 PM - 5:30 AM; CDL preferred but not required; must have high school diploma or GED; overtime, weekends and holidays may be required. Maola offers medical/dental/vision, 401(k) match, life insurance, and PTO.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver’s license (CDL preferred but not required, depending on state/facility requirements).
• Minimum 1 year of experience operating yard trucks, hostlers, or similar equipment.
• The ability to safely operate tractor-trailers and back trailers into tight dock spaces.

Responsibilities

• Follow all procedures, including FIFO.
• Operate yard truck to move trailers to and from dock.
• Record trailer and seal numbers on all trucks after loading.
• Provide the supervisor with a list of all seal numbers at day end.
• Report all accidents immediately to the supervisor.
• Monitor company-issued radio during shift; return to charger daily.
