Job summary

Great Dane LLC in Pennsylvania is seeking a Spotter Truck Driver to move trailers, perform inspections, and support yard operations on the 2nd shift (6:30pm–5:00am) with possible overtime, in a safety-focused manufacturing environment. You will drive the spotter, couple/decouple, back into bays, check oil, water, tires, and report maintenance issues.

Maintain clean work areas, follow safety procedures, and assist in training new staff as needed.

Qualifications

GED or high school diploma preferred.
CDL required if road driving is necessary.
Valid driver’s license is required.
Able to operate spotter truck and back trailers into bays.
Ability to read trailer numbers and related documentation.
Must pass driving test and follow safety procedures.

Responsibilities

Drives spotter truck to move trailers in and out of the building and to the security station, following safety regulations.
Inspects trailers and performs routine service checks (oil, water, tires) daily.
Reports maintenance malfunctions and safety issues promptly.
Maintains clean and orderly equipment and work area.
Follows all safety and security procedures; performs other routine duties as needed.
