Stony Brook Eastern Long Island Hospital is seeking a Transport Supervisor for the evening shift (2:00 PM – 10:30 PM) to supervise Distribution Services staff, dispatch transport requests, and ensure adherence to hospital policies. The role requires strong communication and organizational skills in a fast-paced hospital setting.

Responsibilities include staff scheduling, performance feedback, and tracking equipment repairs in Excel, with a focus on safe and efficient patient transport.

Formación

• : Associate's degree or 3+ years experience in patient setting/hospital facility.
• : Knowledge of patient throughput/transport practices.
• : Working knowledge of Microsoft applications (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• : Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• : Dispatch all patient and equipment requests for all Clinical and non-Clinical departments within the hospital.
• : Supervise and counsel staff; complete staff schedules and timesheets.
