Job summary

Indiana Ag Connection in Indianapolis is hiring a Truck Jockey to support our warehouse and yard operations. You will safely move trailers, inspect loads, and keep logs up to date while working the 3:00 PM–11:00 PM shift with possible overtime.

This role requires a High School Diploma or GED, at least one year of production experience, and the ability to operate tractors, straight trucks, forklifts, and pallet jacks. Total rewards include competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Minimum of one year of production experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to operate tractors, straight trucks, forklifts, pallet jacks, and related equipment.
• Strong commitment to safety, quality, and compliance.
• Ability to complete logs and inventory records.
• Ability to work a 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM shift and overtime.
• Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Operate tractor-trailer trucks, straight body trucks, forklifts, pallet jacks, and floor jacks.
• Move trailers to and from shipping and receiving docks.
• Perform DOT and company pre-trip inspections and maintain logs.
• Maintain daily trailer yard inventory and complete trip reports.
• Inspect trailer loads and secure products before sealing.
• Attach required shipping documents to trailers.
• Assist with product transfers between warehouse racks and trucks.
• Maintain dock areas and grounds (debris removal, sweeping, snow/ice removal, equipment checks).
• Follow safety, housekeeping, PPE requirements.
• Report unsafe conditions and injuries.
• Support inventory control and order management.
• Perform general housekeeping duties.
