Job summary

Campbell Soup Company is hiring a Truck Jockey in Indianapolis for a 3:00 PM–11:00 PM shift with possible overtime. You will safely operate tractors, trailers, forklifts, and pallet jacks; move trailers between shipping docks; perform DOT pre-trip inspections and keep logs; and support inventory control and warehouse tasks to keep products moving smoothly.

Minimum 1 year in production, HS diploma or GED, and strong safety/quality focus are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of one year of production experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to safely operate or learn to operate tractor-trailers, straight trucks, forklifts, pallet jacks, and related equipment.
• Strong commitment to safety, quality, and operational compliance.
• Ability to accurately complete logs, reports, and inventory records.
• Ability to work a 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM shift and overtime as needed.
• Physical demands include frequent sitting, standing, walking, driving; occasional climbing, stooping, kneeling; lifting up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate tractor-trailer trucks, straight body trucks, forklifts, pallet jacks, and floor jacks.
• Move trailers to and from shipping and receiving dock areas efficiently and safely.
• Perform required pre-trip inspections and maintain related logs and records.
• Maintain daily trailer yard inventory and complete trip reports.
• Inspect trailer loads to ensure products are secured before sealing.
• Assist with product transfers between warehouse storage racks and trucks as needed.
• Maintain dock areas and grounds: remove debris, sweep, snow/ice removal, inspect restraints and dock equipment, perform light maintenance and painting.
• Follow all safety, housekeeping, hygiene, and PPE requirements.
• Report unsafe conditions, defective equipment, and injuries immediately.
• Support inventory control, order management, and other warehouse projects.
