Job summary

Beth Israel Lahey Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for our Johnson 3 telemetry unit in Massachusetts. This 36-hour evening position on 8- and 12-hour shifts includes every other weekend and rotating holidays.

The unit specializes in stroke, cardiopulmonary disorders, and acute infections with comprehensive telemetry care. You will complete assessments, administer medications, collaborate with physicians, and educate patients and families.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
• Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN) in Massachusetts.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required.
• Telemetry experience or successful completion of Basic Arrhythmia Recognition within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Complete assessments, administer medications, wound treatments, observes patient’s progress and evaluates therapies for clinical outcomes and effectiveness
• Collaborate with physicians and other medical professionals to develop an optimal health care strategy plan for each individual patient
• Support and educate patients and their loves ones to achieve maximum outcomes
