Job summary

Beth Israel Lahey Health's Beverly Hospital is hiring a Registered Nurse on the Medical Telemetry unit (Johnson 3) for 36-hour rotating shifts. The role emphasizes compassionate, evidence-based nursing care for patients with stroke, cardiopulmonary disorders and sepsis, within a dedicated stroke-enabled telemetry unit.

You’ll perform complete assessments, administer medications, collaborate with the care team, and educate patients and families to support optimal outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in nursing (BSN) preferred.
• Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required.
• Basic telemetry experience or successful completion of Basic ArrhythmiaRecognition and Care of the telemetry patient required within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Complete assessments, administer medications, wound treatments,observes patient’s progress and evaluates therapies for clinical outcomes and effectiveness
• Collaborate with physicians and other medical professionals to develop an optimal health care strategy plan for each individual patient
• Support and educate patients and their loves ones to achieve maximum outcomes
