Job summary

Beth Israel Lahey Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for Johnson 3 Medical Telemetry, 36 hours per week on a rotating schedule. This 32-bed unit cares for stroke, cardio-pulmonary disorders and infections, with emphasis on neurological assessment and teamwork.

As part of the Inpatient Team you will complete assessments, administer medications, collaborate with physicians, educate patients and families, and assist with discharge planning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in nursing is preferred.
• Current MA RN license is required.
• BLS certification is required.
• Telemetry experience or completion of Basic Arrhythmia Recognition within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Complete assessments, administer medications, observe patient progress and evaluate therapies.
• Collaborate with physicians and other professionals to develop care plans.
• Support and educate patients and families to achieve outcomes.
