Requirements include graduation from an accredited School of Nursing, current Massachusetts RN license, ACLS/BLS certification, and telemetry experience.

Qualifications

• Telemetry experience required.
• ACLS and BLS certification required.
• Current MA RN license required; BSN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Delivers expert, evidence-based nursing care to patients and families.
• Implements the nursing process by assessing patient and family needs and analyzing data.
• Plans and evaluates care with measurable outcomes.
• Administers medications and procedures per policy.
• Maintains ACLS and BLS certification and monitors patient status.
• Recognizes emergencies and responds appropriately.
• Conducts bedside shift report and hourly rounding.
• Collaborates with the health care team to ensure continuity of care.
