Job summary

Advocate Health’s 7 South Medical-Surgical Unit is seeking a Registered Nurse for a full-time night shift (3 12-hour shifts, 7pm-7am) with weekend rotation at High Point Medical Center. The unit cares for adult patients across medical, surgical, and related conditions and emphasizes compassionate, patient-centered care.

Applicants must have an accredited nursing program and an active RN license in the state, BLS certification, and ideally more than 1 year of RN experience.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing.
• Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association.
• Greater than 1 year of RN experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.
• Using evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and skills communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.
