Job summary

Tenet Healthcare in El Paso, TX seeks a Surgical Technologist to support sterile technique and instrumentation during surgical procedures. You will scrub, pass instruments, pull cases, break down cases, and prepare the OR for the day’s schedule.

Salary is commensurate with experience. Required: graduating from a CAAHEP-accredited program, BLS, and Surgical Technology certification; 1 year of experience preferred; on-call duties may apply.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a CAAHEP accredited surgical technology program.
• Associate degree preferred.
• AHA BLS and Surgical Technology certification required.
• 1 year experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain aseptic technique throughout procedures.
• Set up required equipment, instrumentation and sterile supplies.
• Scrub and pass instruments during surgical procedures.
• Pull cases as needed and breakdown cases at end of procedure.
• Set up operating room and supplies for the day’s schedule.
• Available for on-call as required by unit need.
