United Surgical Partners International Inc (USPI) is seeking a Surgical Technologist for El Paso Day Surgery. This position requires a High School Diploma/GED and completion of a Surgical Technician Program, with strong knowledge of surgical procedures a must. The role is weekdays only, with no holidays or weekends, and involves maintaining a sterile field during surgical procedures and preparing necessary equipment.

The ideal candidate will excel in teamwork and communication, adapting quickly to patient needs. Previous experience in an ambulatory surgical center is preferred.

Qualifications

• Certification as required by state and/or center.

El Paso Day Surgery is hiring a Surgical Technologist

Welcome to El Paso Day Surgery

We have 5 OR rooms and 1 Treatment room. We perform outpatient surgical procedures in ENT, General, OB/GYN, Gynecology & Infertility, Ophthalmology, Ortho, Pain, Plastic, Urology. Position requires weekdays only -- no holidays, weekends, or call. Some early mornings and later evenings may be required; schedule subject to change based on surgical schedule and flow of the day.

The Surgical Technologist scrubs for surgical procedures and demonstrates competence while functioning as a member of the surgical team. Maintains a sterile field during surgical procedures. Prepares supplies, instruments, and equipment related to these procedures. Supports the philosophy, objectives, and goals of the Surgery Center. Supports and participates in quality improvement activities.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED; completion of a Surgical Technician Program and/or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Certification as required by state and/or center
• Previous experience in an ambulatory surgical center is strongly preferred
• Must possess a strong knowledge of surgical procedures and management of the surgical patient
• Understanding of aseptic techniques and their implementation
• Ability to quickly adapt to changing condition of the patient when needed
• Must excel in teamwork and possess strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with staff, engage with patients, and coordinate with physicians
