Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; completion of a Surgical Technician Program and/or equivalent education/experience.
• Certification as required by state and/or center.
• Experience in ambulatory surgical center is strongly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of aseptic techniques and their implementation.
• Ability to quickly adapt to changing patient conditions; excels in teamwork and communication.

Responsibilities

• Scrubs for surgical procedures and maintains a sterile field.
• Prepares supplies, instruments, and equipment for procedures.
• Supports the philosophy, objectives, and goals of the Surgery Center.
• Participates in quality improvement activities.
