The ideal candidate has an accredited nursing degree, an active Florida RN or LPN license, and at least 2 years in long-term care with 1 year of supervisory experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Active, unrestricted Florida RN or LPN license.
• Minimum 2 years in long-term care, geriatric, or restorative nursing.
• At least 1 year of supervisory or leadership experience.
• Current CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Nursing leadership to support daily operations and regulatory compliance.
• Supervise, mentor, and support nursing staff to maintain high resident care standards.
• Monitor staffing levels and adjust for safe coverage.
• Conduct routine rounds to evaluate care quality and address concerns.
• Assist with state surveys, inspections, and regulatory audits.
• Oversee admission processes and participate in rounds with physicians.

West Volusia Healthcare & Rehabilitation is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Evening Nursing Supervisor (RN/LPN) to oversee clinical operations during the evening shift. This leadership role is ideal for a registered nurse who is passionate about long-term care, team development, and delivering high-quality resident-centered care.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Director and Associate Director of Nursing to support daily operations and ensure regulatory compliance
• Supervise, mentor, and support nursing staff to maintain exceptional standards of resident care
• Monitor staffing levels and make real-time adjustments to ensure safe coverage
• Conduct routine rounds to evaluate care quality and address concerns
• Assist with state surveys, inspections, and regulatory audits
• Participate in the development and implementation of resident care and discharge plans
• Address staff concerns professionally and foster a positive, team-oriented work environment
• Welcome and assist residents and families during the admissions process
• Accompany physicians during resident rounds and oversee medication and treatment administration
• Provide direct nursing care and perform assessments as neededParticipate in staff evaluations and support the professional development of nursing team members

Qualifications
