West Volusia Healthcare & Rehabilitation in Deltona, FL is seeking an Evening Nursing Supervisor (RN/LPN) to lead clinical operations on the 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM shift. This leadership role focuses on resident-centered care, staff development, and regulatory compliance.

The supervisor will collaborate with the Director of Nursing, mentor nursing staff, monitor staffing, participate in rounds and surveys, and support admissions and medication administration.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Active, unrestricted Florida RN or LPN license.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in long-term care or geriatric nursing.
• At least 1 year of supervisory or leadership experience.
• Current CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Director and Associate Director of Nursing to support daily operations and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Supervise, mentor, and support nursing staff to maintain high standards of resident care.
• Monitor staffing levels and adjust coverage as needed for safety.
• Conduct routine rounds to evaluate care quality and address concerns.
• Assist with state surveys, inspections, and audits.
• Develop and implement resident care and discharge plans.
• Address staff concerns and foster a positive, team-oriented environment.
• Support admissions processes and accompany physicians during rounds.
