Job summary

Pine Hill Rehabilitation and Wellness Center in Birmingham, AL is seeking an RN Evening Supervisor to oversee nursing staff and ensure high-quality resident care. The role requires leadership, clinical expertise, and a compassionate approach to elderly residents.

Responsibilities include supervising RNs/LPNs/CNAs, developing care plans, coordinating with the interdisciplinary team, and communicating with families and providers.

Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Alabama.
• CPR certification required.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in long-term care or a related setting.
• Previous supervisory or leadership experience preferred.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.

• Manage and supervise nursing staff, including RNs, LPNs, and CNAs, to ensure delivery of excellent resident care.
• Develop and implement nursing care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.
• Monitor resident health and coordinate with healthcare providers to address medical concerns.
• Conduct regular assessments and evaluations of staff performance, providing feedback and coaching as needed.
• Serve as a liaison between residents, families, and healthcare providers to address concerns and ensure open communication.
• Perform other job-related duties as they become required.

Pine Hill Rehabilitation and Wellness Center a long-term care facility is seeking a dedicated and experienced RN Evening Supervisor. As a RN Evening Supervisor, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the nursing staff and ensuring the highest quality of care for our residents. This position requires strong leadership skills, clinical expertise, and a passion for providing compassionate care to the elderly population.

RN Evening Supervisor Key Duties
