Job summary

Genesis is seeking an RN Supervisor for an evening shift (3:00pm - 11:00pm) in North Carolina. You will support the Director of Nursing in delivering efficient nursing care, while achieving positive clinical outcomes and high patient and employee satisfaction.

The position offers a consistent Monday-Friday evening schedule with an additional $4/hour evening differential and potential to raise base pay by 25% in lieu of benefits. Strong teamwork and resident-focused care are emphasized.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with active RN licensure in NC.
• Minimum three years of full-time clinical experience; two years in long-term care nursing preferred.
• One year in a management/supervisory capacity preferred; BSN preferred.
• Must maintain current BLS/CPR certification and RN license.

Responsibilities

• Report to the Director of Nursing and lead the clinical operations of the units on the assigned shift.
• Facilitate care delivery model implementation and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate to maintain adequate nursing staff and minimize overtime and agency usage.
• Participate in staff recruitment, orientation, mentoring, and succession decisions.

Advance your nursing career and join our team as an RN Supervisor. You will support the Director of Nursing with the delivery of efficient and effective nursing care while achieving positive clinical outcomes, and patient/family and employee satisfaction.

• Report to the Director of Nursing.
• Lead, guide and direct the clinical operations of the nursing units on assigned shift including ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures, practice standards and regulations.
• Facilitate the implementation of the care delivery model and processes.
• Collaborate with the Director of Nursing to maintain adequate nursing staff to provide safe, 24/7 nursing care with an emphasis on limiting use of overtime and agency personnel.
• Participate in staff recruitment, new hire orientation, mentor staff, and make recommendations for employee promotions, transfers and terminations.

Qualifications

Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing, college or university with a current registered nurse licensure by the State Board of Nursing.

A minimum of three years full-time or equivalent clinical experience is required and a minimum of two years of clinical experience in long-term care nursing with one year in a management/administrative or supervisory capacity is preferred. BSN preferred.

Must maintain current BLS/CPR certification and RN license.
