JOIN TEAM TRILOGY

Summary

The Evening Supervisor is primarily responsible for assisting the Director of Health Services and Assistant Director of Health Services in planning, organizing, developing, and directing the evening functions of the Nursing Department(s) in accordance with current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations that govern our health campus, while ensuring the highest quality of care is maintained at all times.

Schedule

  • Monday - Friday Evening Shift
  • 1pm-9:30pm, 2pm-10:30pm, or 3pm-11:30pm
  • Clinical Leadership on-call rotation as required

Payment

Evening Supervisors are eligible for additional shift and weekend pay differential.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assist the ADHS and DHS in planning, developing, organizing, implementing, evaluating, and directing the nursing service department, in accordance with current rules, regulations, and guidelines.
  • Make written and oral reports/recommendations to the ADHS/DHS regarding the operation of the nursing service department.
  • Develop methods for coordination of nursing services with other resident services to ensure continuity of care.
  • Manage reportables with communication and supervision from ED/DHS.
  • Complete nursing admission assessments and baseline care planning for new admissions.
  • Perform MDS section GG Functional assessment within required timeframe.
  • Ensure accurate daily skilled documentation.
  • Perform administrative duties such as completing medical forms, reports, evaluations, studies, charting, etc.
  • Supervise and assist with resident care according to assessed resident status and care plans.

  • Possess leadership and supervisory abilities and work harmoniously with personnel.
  • Ability to read, write, and follow instructions in English.
  • Ability to make independent decisions regarding job duties.
  • Ability to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, families, visitors, agencies, vendors, and the public.
  • Knowledge of nursing and medical practices, procedures, laws, regulations, and guidelines pertaining to long-term care.

Licenses/Certifications

  • Previous leadership experience preferred but not required.
  • Unencumbered LPN or RN license in the state of employment.
