JOIN TEAM TRILOGY

Summary

The Evening Supervisor is responsible for assisting the Director and Assistant Director of Health Services in planning, organizing, developing, and directing the evening functions of the Nursing Department(s). This role ensures compliance with federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations, maintaining the highest quality of care at all times.

Schedule

• Monday - Friday Evening Shift
• 1pm-9:30pm, 2pm-10:30pm, or 3pm-11:30pm
• Clinical Leadership on-call rotation as required

Payment

Evening Supervisors are eligible for additional shift and weekend pay differentials.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, developing, organizing, implementing, evaluating, and directing the nursing service department and its programs, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations.
• Provide written and oral reports to the ADHS/DHS regarding departmental operations.
• Coordinate nursing services with other resident services to ensure seamless care.
• Manage reportables with supervision from ED/DHS.
• Complete nursing admission assessments and baseline care plans for new residents.
• Perform MDS section GG Functional assessments within required timeframes.
• Ensure accurate daily skilled documentation.
• Perform administrative duties including completing medical forms, reports, and charting.
• Supervise and oversee resident care according to individual care plans.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Leadership and supervisory skills, with the ability to work harmoniously with staff.
• Proficiency in reading, writing, and following instructions in English.
• Ability to make independent decisions.
• Effective tactful communication with personnel, residents, families, and external agencies.
• Knowledge of nursing and medical practices, laws, regulations related to long-term care.

Licenses/Certifications

• Previous leadership experience preferred but not required.
• Unencumbered LPN or RN license in the state of employment.
