Job summary

The Tennessee Board of Regents (TBR) invites applications for a Part-time Evening Operations Coordinator at Chattanooga State's Academic Success Center. This role supports tutoring, testing, and learning services during evening hours, reporting to the ASC Director, with supervising learning assistants and testing staff.

The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree, strong leadership, interpersonal and communication skills, and proficiency with learning technology.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited institution in a relevant field.
• Progressively increasing leadership roles and responsibilities.
• Expertise in contemporary best practices in learning assistance.
• Exceptional interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to work with computers and technology used in instruction.
• Willingness to work a regular evening schedule, including weekends.
• Passion for student success.

Responsibilities

• Manage learning assistants, embedded learning assistants, and supplemental instruction staff during evening hours.
• Coordinate tutoring and supplemental instruction services.
• Support evening access to tutoring and testing for students.
• Collaborate with faculty and staff across divisions to support evening learning needs.
• Open/close procedures and supervision of evening operations.
• Plan and implement proactive programming to enhance student learning after hours.
