Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Health is seeking a Sterile Processing Technician to support the Decontamination and Processing area. You will assist with instrument and tray processing, ensure sterility, and maintain documentation to support patient care.

Responsibilities include monitoring item expiry, operating sterilization equipment, and upholding high standards of safety and quality. Evening shifts and full-time benefits are offered with competitive compensation and professional growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office and Google Suite.

Responsibilities

• Assist in processing instruments, trays, and case carts in Decontamination/Processing.
• Check expiration dates and remove outdated items.
• Maintain accurate records of processed loads and indicators.
• Operate Decontamination/Sterilization equipment following procedures.
• Adhere to organizational competencies and standards of behavior.
