Job summary

Exeter Hospital, part of Beth Israel Lahey Health, seeks a CSS Technician I to perform decontamination, assembly and sterilization of surgical instruments and endoscopes. The role includes instrument pickup/delivery and orienting new staff.

Requires CRCST certification and attention to detail. 1 year of experience preferred; monitoring quality and daily par levels supported by a CSS Tech Lead. Position offers evening shifts with on-site work in Exeter, NH.

Qualifications

• CRCST certification required.
• 1 year of experience preferred.
• Working knowledge of computers.
• Must be organized with attention to detail.
• Constant standing during shifts.
• Frequent lifting and pushing/pulling of equipment.

Responsibilities

• Decontaminate, assemble and sterilize surgical instrumentation.
• Sterilize endoscopes and manage high-level disinfection.
• Coordinate pickup and delivery of instruments to doctor offices.
• Assist with orientation and training of new staff.
