Job summary

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or GED.
• Credential: CRCST within 12 months of hire or CSPDT within 12 months of hire.
• Experience: 1 year in a customer service role.

Responsibilities

• Decontaminates and sterilizes instruments according to protocol.
• Assembles trays to maintain sterility.
• Operates sterilizer per instructions with proper biological monitoring.
• Inspects instruments for cleanliness and function; uses magnification tools.
• Maintains documentation of sterilization processes.
• Assembles case carts and delivers to the operating room.
• Performs routine cleaning and disinfection to maintain a clean work area.
• Interface with department tracking system for processing activities.
• Meet productivity expectations and protect staff by following safety procedures.
