Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years Sterile Processing Supervisor experience REQUIRED
• Lead experience alone is NOT accepted
• Previous travel experience required
• Trauma Level I facility experience required

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily sterile processing operations during evening shift.
• Monitor instrument decontamination, assembly, sterilization, and distribution processes.
• Ensure compliance with AAMI, Joint Commission, infection prevention, and hospital standards.
• Oversee staff workflow, productivity, and quality assurance activities.
• Coordinate instrument availability for surgical procedures.
• Manage case carts and instrument tray preparation.
• Support specialty service lines including trauma, robotics, orthopedics, transplant, cardiac, and neurosurgery.
• Monitor biological and chemical indicator testing.
• Ensure proper documentation within Censitrac and Sterile Processing Microsystem (SPM).
• Review sterilization records and quality metrics.
• Oversee loaner instrumentation processing and tracking.
• Support endoscope and flexible scope reprocessing operations.
• Troubleshoot sterilization equipment issues and workflow challenges.
• Ensure compliance with department policies and regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with operating room leadership and perioperative teams.
