Job summary

Penn State Abington is hiring up to five part-time STEM Academy Instructors for an in-person math and science program at a Northeast Philadelphia community organization. The role covers September 2026 to June 2027, with possible extension. You’ll teach pre-designed content to high school students 4:00 p.m.–8:00 p.m.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in at least one STEM area or Education field.
• Ability to follow and adapt written STEM activity instructions.
• Strong collaboration with teaching assistants and coordinators.

Responsibilities

• Deliver STEM instruction, activities, and labs for high school students.
• Follow and revise provided activity materials as needed.
• Provide weekly updates and materials to STEM Faculty Coordinator.
• Communicate with STEM team to ensure content accuracy.
