Job summary

Penn State Abington seeks part-time Youth Program instructors for grades K-12 from June 2027 through August 2027. Instructors will create and implement curriculum, supervise minors, and work with the Youth Program Director and staff to ensure a positive, educational experience.

Daytime in-person programming runs Monday through Thursday, June 28–August 12, 2027, 8:30 a.m.–4:30 p.m., with a mandatory orientation prior to start.

Qualifications

• Excellent interpersonal and oral communication skills required.
• Outoing personality and strong customer service skills.
• Self-starter with ability to work with children.

Responsibilities

• Assist in creating and implementing program curriculum and lessons.
• Manage supplies for activities and equipment.
• Supervise minors participating in programs.
• Collaborate with Youth Program Director, Student counselors, and Continuing Education staff to create a welcoming and educational environment.
• Attend team meetings as required.
