Job summary

Groundwork Therapy, a Brooklyn private practice established in 2018, seeks a full-time staff therapist to join a collaborative team. In-person sessions are required Monday through Friday with evening hours available, including 9PM closes Monday-Thursday and daytime Friday.

The role emphasizes depth-oriented psychotherapy and work with diverse clients. Ideal candidates bring psychodynamic relational orientation, experience with LGBTQI+ clients, and comfort with couples/relationship therapy.

Qualifications

• Degree and licensed to practice in NY state.
• Psychodynamic relational/interpersonal orientation (integrative in interventions).
• Availability Monday through Thursday until 9PM and daytime on Fridays.
• Must work in-person Monday through Friday.
• LMSW/MHC-LP pay starts at $65 per clinical hour.
• LCSW/LMFT/LMHC pay starts at $100 per clinical hour.
• Paid Time Off.
• Health Insurance (9 Anthem BC/BS plans to choose from).
• $250 per year provided for CE credits.

Responsibilities

• Hold 20 to 25 45-minute therapy sessions a week (individual and/or couples).
• Attend weekly case conference with staff.
• Attend weekly individual supervision.
