Labcorp is seeking a dedicated individual to join the Specimen Processing and Accessioning team in Salt Lake, UT. The role supports preparation, labeling, routing, and shipment of specimens while ensuring accurate data entry and adherence to production goals.

The position emphasizes teamwork, attention to detail, and the ability to handle biological specimens safely, with a robust benefits package and equal opportunity employment.

Qualificações

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent is required.
• 1 year or more of experience in a lab or specimen processing is preferred.
• 1 year or more of experience in a medical/clinical laboratory environment is preferred.
• 1 year of experience in a healthcare setting such as a physician's office, clinic or hospital is preferred.
• 1 year of experience in an assembly or manufacturing production environment is preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare laboratory specimens for analysis and testing
• Unpack and route specimens to their respective staging areas
• Accurately identify and label specimens
• Pack and ship specimens to proper testing facilities
• Meet department activity and production goals
• Properly prepare and store excess specimen samples
• Data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner
• Resolve and document any problem specimens
