Job summary

MercyOne is seeking ultrasound professionals to perform high-quality imaging across patient ages, from infants to geriatrics. You will contribute to diagnostic accuracy while educating patients about procedures and ensuring safety.

Role requires ARDMS certification with potential sign-on incentives; Day 1 benefits and relocation assistance may apply based on location. Evening shift availability included in this posting.

Qualifications

• Must be ARDMS registered or board-eligible and ARDMS within 1 year.
• Maintains active ARDMS registry with CME requirements.
• BLS certification within 30 days of hire and every 2 years.
• Child/Dependent Adult Abuse mandatory reporter training within 6 months of hire and every 3 years.

Responsibilities

• Performs quality ultrasound procedures with proper positioning and anatomy knowledge across ages.
• Conducts clinical assessment and diagnostic sonography exams.
• Educates patients about exams and obtains consent when necessary.
• Follows safety and departmental protocols in Ultrasound.
• Operates 2D, M-mode, and Doppler ultrasound units to obtain accurate measurements.

Education

RDMS, ARDMS certification (registered diagnostic medical sonographer)

RDCS (registered diagnostic cardiac sonographer)

RVT (registered vascular technologist)

RMSKS (registered musculoskeletal sonographer)

Board-eligible and become ARDMS registered within 1 year

Active ARDMS registry status and CME requirements

BLS certification within 30 days of hire and every 2 years

Mandatory reporter training for abuse per policy
