Job summary

MercyOne Medical Group is seeking a Sonographer to perform ultrasound exams across OB/GYN, abdominal, breast, and small parts. The role involves assisting radiologists and guiding students and staff, with a weekend shift schedule.

Candidates must hold ARDMS registration (RDMS/RDCS/RVT/RMSKS) or be eligible to obtain ARDMS within one year; BLS within 30 days; CME maintenance every 3 years; and mandatory reporting training within six months of hire.

Qualifications

• ARDMS registration with one of RDMS, RDCS, RVT, or RMSKS.

Responsibilities

• Perform Ultrasound exams including OB/GYN, abdominal, breast, small parts and other related Ultrasound procedures.
• Provide general assistance to the radiologist and supervise students/hospital staff.

Join the MercyOne Family! We are looking to hire a Sonographer!

As a Sonographer at MercyOne, you will:

• Perform Ultrasound exams including OB/GYN, abdominal, breast, small parts, and other related Ultrasound procedures as necessary on scheduled or emergent basis and maintains related records
• Provide general assistance to the radiologist in interpreting studies; provides technical instruction to students and hospital staff
  

Schedule:

• Weekend Days
• Work 2 12-hour shifts (24 hours) and get paid 36.
  

General Requirements:

Must be registered with the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) with one of the following:

• Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS)
• Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS)
• Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT)
• Registered Musculoskeletal Sonographer (RMSKS)

If not registered, be board-eligible and become registered with ARDMS within one year of hire.

• Maintains active registry status with ARDMS (30 CME's every 3 yrs/annual payment)
• Child and Dependent Adult Abuse Mandatory Reporter Training is required within six (6) months of hire and every three (3) years thereafter.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required within 30 days of hire and every two (2) years thereafter.
