Job summary

Mercy Hospital St. Louis is seeking an Associate Sonographer to operate ultrasound imaging equipment and related software, ensuring patient safety and high-quality images.

The role emphasizes compassionate patient care, technical proficiency, and teamwork with clinicians to support accurate diagnoses. The position is on-site, full-time (40 hours/week) with flexible scheduling (4x10s or 5x8s) and includes a $10,000 sign-on bonus, inpatient allowances, shift differentials, and referral incentives.

Qualifications

• Education: Graduate of a school of Sonography and completed required clinical hours OR registered sonographer.
• Experience: no experience required.
• Certification: ARDMS or ARRT or CCI registry OR Registry eligible (Achieve registry within 6 months of eligibility); Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days of hire.
