Job summary

FedEx Supply Chain in Columbus, OH is seeking a Shipping and Receiving Clerk for 2nd shift (Afternoon/Evening). The role includes data entry, coordinating shipments, scheduling pickups, and ensuring accurate processing of shipments.

Proficiency in Windows and MS Office is required, with RF equipment familiarity preferred. Responsibilities also include generating reports from the Warehouse Management System (WMS), performing audits, and maintaining compliance with policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1 year data processing experience in a distribution center environment preferred.
• 1 year warehouse/clerical experience using standard practices.
• Proficient with Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word).
• RF equipment familiarity preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Customer service oriented.

Responsibilities

• Perform data entry within the assigned work area.
• Handle shipping and receiving administrative tasks.
• Coordinate and schedule pick-ups.
• Ensure timely and accurate shipment processing.
• Consolidate shipments in a timely and acceptable manner.
• Operate material handling equipment as needed.
• Adhere to Vendor Routing Guide requirements.
• Support computer room functions and label generation for daily production orders.
• Track monthly rack audit data in Maintenance Connection.
• Track recurring MSDS in Maintenance Connection.
• Assist Operations Analyst by generating reports from the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
• Perform inventory adjustment audits.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Analyze workload and communicate with internal departments and external carriers.
• Disseminate departmental data in appropriate report formats.
• Maintain office supply levels and interoffice mail distribution.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
