Job summary

CJ Logistics America in Union City, GA is seeking a Shipping & Receiving Clerk to be the main contact for drivers at the Welcome Center and Shipping Office. You will verify shipments, process documentation, and maintain schedules to support efficient dock and yard operations.

The role requires 1-2 years experience, proficiency with MS Office, basic math, and strong attention to detail. You will work in a hybrid warehouse-office environment with occasional overtime and safety protocols.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent experience.
• 1-2 years relevant experience in shipping/receiving or warehouse operations.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Basic math, reading, and record-keeping skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Effective problem-solving and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.

Responsibilities

• Greet and sign drivers in and out of the facility, ensuring all paperwork is verified and completed.
• Assign dock doors to inbound and outbound loads, coordinating with yard spotters and warehouse teams.
• Process Bills of Lading and all shipping/receiving documentation, maintaining accurate records.
• Maintain real-time door and yard reports for trailer inventory.
• Maintain inbound/outbound shipment schedules using warehouse management systems.
