Job summary

Seven Hills Foundation in Massachusetts is seeking an experienced Direct Support Professional Supervisor to lead residential counselor staff in our 24-hour acute and congregate care programs. As a Shift Supervisor, you’ll guide, coach, and model best practices while ensuring safe, structured, and therapeutic spaces for youth.

Requirements include at least 3 years of related experience, a High School Diploma/GED/HiSet, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Leadership and supervision of residential staff.
• Experience leading youth-focused teams in residential settings.
• Ability to coach, mentor, and model best practices.
• Familiarity with CPI de-escalation techniques.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise residential counselor staff during assigned shifts.
• Provide coaching, feedback, and real-time guidance.
• Maintain staff updates, shift expectations, and assignments.
• Ensure safety, supervise youth, and maintain ratios.
• Complete shift notes and incident reports.
• Uphold HIPAA and professional boundaries.
