Job summary

Good Samaritan in Brainerd, MN is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for a part-time evening shift of 16 hours per week. The RN will provide individualized nursing care using the nursing process, and collaborate with residents, families and an inter-disciplinary team to plan and evaluate care.

The right candidate will coordinate resident assessments, education, and nursing interventions, with potential to serve as charge nurse when needed. MN RN licensure and a BSN are preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program; RN license in the state where practice occurs.
• Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing.
• Bachelor's Degree in nursing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized nursing care using the nursing process.
• Collaborate with resident and family, and inter-disciplinary colleagues to plan and evaluate care.
• Coordinate resident assessment, education, and nursing interventions.
• May serve as charge nurse and delegate tasks to staff as appropriate.
