Job summary

Dairy Farmers of America is hiring for a plant operator role in California. You will handle table, cooker and RMC duties, prepare vats, monitor pH, adjust temperatures and mold cheese to weight. You’ll sample for lab tests, document production logs and uphold GMP, safety and 5S standards.

Must be able to work OT, read and write English, and participate in safety programs. Competitive hourly pay and company benefits apply.

Qualifications

• High school or equivalent required; basic math skills preferred.
• Willingness to work overtime as needed.
• Must be able to read, write and speak English.

Responsibilities

• Perform Table Operator duties and other related operator tasks.
• Prepare vats according to recipes and monitor pH levels.
• Adjust cook temperatures and mold cheese to target weight/shape.
• Sample for lab testing and maintain production logs.
• Follow GMP, safety rules and 5S standards; assist CIP activities.
• Maintain clean work areas and ensure health and safety compliance.
