Job summary

Dairy Farmers of America is seeking a relief operator for Table Operator, Brine Operator and RMC Operator duties in our California facility. The role involves preparing vats per recipe, monitoring pH, adjusting cook temperatures and ensuring proper molding and sampling for lab testing.

The position requires basic math, English proficiency, and adherence to GMP, HACCP and 5S Leader Standard Work programs, with emphasis on safety and quality across shifts.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required or preferred but not required.
• Must have basic math experience.
• Must be able to read, write and speak English.
• Must be able to learn basic computer skills for touch screen operation.
• Must participate in safety observation and Leader Standard Work program.

Responsibilities

• Complete all Table Operator duties and responsibilities.
• Complete all Cooker/RMC Operator duties and responsibilities.
• Prepare each vat according to recipe.
• Monitor curd pH and adjust ingredients as needed.
• Mold cheese to proper weight and shape.
• Submit samples for lab testing.
