Job summary

Hubbell Incorporated is seeking a Production Specialist II to supervise hourly staff and coordinate shift operations in our manufacturing facility. You will prepare time sheets, production summaries, and reports, plan work assignments and collaborate with Engineering, Material Control, and Quality Control to improve efficiency and quality.

Ideal candidates have 6–10 years of relevant experience, prior lean manufacturing leadership, and strong proficiency with related systems and software.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Minimum 6–10 years of relevant experience.
• Prior production leadership experience in Lean manufacturing is required.

Responsibilities

• Supervising hourly employees, maintaining log of shift operations.
• Preparing daily time sheets, production summaries, overtime and downtime reports.
• Planning work assignments to maximize manpower, materials, equipment, and facilities.
• Collaborating with Engineering on methods, layouts, processes, and equipment to improve efficiency and reduce cost.
• Coordinating with Material Control on production schedules and parts; providing status feedback.
• Working with Quality Control to maintain and interpret quality standards.
• Communicating changes that affect production to management.
• Cooperating with Human Resources on employee or labor relations matters.
• Ensuring compliance with plant rules, safety standards and housekeeping.
