Job summary

PACCAR in Denton, TX is seeking an Evening Shift Unit Manager to oversee production teams, drive PACCAR Production System goals, and ensure safety, quality, and on-time delivery.

You will lead and coach hourly staff, manage resources, and collaborate with maintenance and quality to resolve issues and sustain continuous improvement.

Applicants should have a technical or business degree and 1–3 years in manufacturing, with strong leadership and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical or business related field.
• 1-3+ years’ experience in a manufacturing/operations environment.
• Demonstrated knowledge of Lean Manufacturing Principles.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, set priorities, identify and address problems, and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Drive PPS goals in Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, and Morale.
• Lead production and maintenance activities to meet plant goals.
• Develop action plans to address performance gaps.
• Ensure training and adherence to rules and procedures.
• Track performance metrics and coach team daily.
