Job summary

Regal Rexnord is seeking a Painter to perform painting and packing of speed reducers or gear boxes in an onsite manufacturing setting. Responsibilities include masking, cleaning, and painting units, inspecting for cleanliness, and ensuring correct packaging with proper labeling.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED and prior manufacturing experience is preferred. OSHA and EHS guidelines apply, with PPE and safety training provided.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment is strongly desired.

Responsibilities

• Perform painting process for completed units for shipment according to established methods.
• Inspect units to ensure housings are free from lubricant and dirt prior to painting.
• Prepare units for painting by masking shafts, bores, and oil seals.
• Protect nameplates and shafts from exposure to paint.
• Ensure units move smoothly along the paint line to maintain productivity.
• Coat unit surfaces and perform spray painting as required.
• Maintain clean spray equipment and paint booth per procedures.
• Operate overhead hoist and assist with final assembly when needed.
• Pack units correctly using a 1-piece flow method and match labels accurately.
• Follow safety regulations and environmental requirements; wear PPE as needed.
