Jones Lang LaSalle Incorporated in Chicago, IL is seeking an Operating Engineer to support operation, inspection and maintenance of mechanical, HVAC, electrical and plumbing systems. The role is on-site with a 3:00 PM–11:00 PM schedule, Monday through Friday.

You will maintain the CMMS, perform preventive work, assist in emergencies and ensure safety compliance. The ideal candidate has 3+ years in repair/maintenance (HVAC/plumbing/electrical), familiarity with MS Office, and is capable of

Qualifications

• 3+ years of related work experience in repair/maintenance, HVAC, plumbing, electrical or carpentry.
• Trade school education, union training, military service or college is desirable.
• Universal CFC EPA certification or interest in achieving within first year with JLL assistance.
• Experience using Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, Teams).
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and climb ladders up to 30 feet.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and operate mechanical, HVAC, electrical and plumbing systems.
• Keep CMMS work orders updated and respond to tenant service requests.
• Perform preventive maintenance and inspections as assigned.
• Assist in on-call or emergency response situations as applicable.
• Troubleshoot building systems and comply with safety procedures.
